About Prime Academy

Prime Academy is an extraordinary institute with extraordinary talents. It has carved a niche for itself in academics, sports, music and art. Its students have made the school proud by giving 100% passing result since 2010 and today our students are well placed and flourishing in various industries.
At Prime Academy, students are placed at the centre of teaching and learning. The school curriculum is intended to provide students with experiences that engage and challenge them to be forward thinking. It is inclusive and affirms India's unique identity. The school supports and empowers all its students to learn and achieve individual excellence, regardless of their personal circumstances.
Prime Academy is a recognised, Co-Ed, English Medium, ICSE School. It is a private entity, non-aided institution founded in the year 2006 providing all educational services under one roof. It is affiliated to The Council for The Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (CICSE Board). The ICSE syllabus is diligently followed and aimed at the all-round development of students to enable them to face the competitive world.
All teachers are professionally qualified, certified and capable of transforming the lives of young children for the better. All Didis are polite, loving and caring towards all children and treat them like the own. It has been the top most priority of the management to provide value education at a reasonable price to all children. Keeping the comfort of its students and parents in mind, Prime Academy provides a One Window Service (Everything under one roof). As of now, transportation is not provided by the school (No School Bus). The School Uniforms (Regular School Uniform + PE Uniform) must be procured from the school itself whenever the counter is open on stipulated dates.

Innauguration

"The beginning is the most important part of the work." – Plato

The Foundation stone of Prime Academy was laid by its Chairman Mr. Naresh Advani on the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa on April 09, 2005. This was a maiden step in the field of education.
Within one year, the school was inaugurated on June 27, 2006 by the world-renowned icon of the Indian Film Industry, Mr. Amitabh Bachchan in the presence of other dignitaries. The school’s impressive structure is the manifestation of the dreams of its Chairman Mr. Naresh Advani. His passion and vision of providing the highest standards of education for children in Mumbai is unmatchable.
Prime Academy is honoured and eternally grateful to its Chief Guest Mr. Amitabh Bachchan that he could make it on time for the inauguration in spite of the monsoon and his busy schedule. The audience and children were enthralled by his life experiences and words of wisdom. On this memorable day, amidst a mammoth gathering, Mr. Bachchan released the school calendar with much fanfare. He held our students' little fingers and led them to take their 'first step' by reciting a stanza from his father and well-known poet Shri. Harivanshrai Bachchan's poem Madhushala which inspires us to focus on our goal as well as be firm and persistent to achieve it.

STUDENT LEADERSHIP: Investiture Ceremony

A key feature of Prime Academy is the empowerment of its students so that, not only do they feel a sense of ownership towards their school, but they also develop leadership skills that are invaluable in their life beyond school. Leadership does not just happen, it is a skill to be learned, to be mentored and to be valued by the school community. There are ample opportunities at Prime Academy for students to participate in leadership roles. The most important being the Student Council.

The Student Council comprises of appointed students, led by the Principal, Head Boy and Head Girl, Sports Captain, Sports Vice-Captains, 4 House Captains, 4 House Vice-Captains & 4 House Prefects with responsibilities to lead all students. The school functions like a small community in itself and provides opportunities to students to govern it and follow the rules. This helps in instilling a sense and ownership and belonging towards the school and children take great pride in being a part of it.

THE SCHOOL UNIFORM:

A uniform is a common dress code that is enforced by a school or an organisation. Wearing the same uniform instils a feeling of pride, togetherness and belonging. It fosters a sense of discipline, reduces distractions, improves focus along with an indomitable team spirit as everyone is easily identifiable as being on the same team. Students feel that they are an important part of something bigger than themselves when in uniform as it promotes team culture and school identity.
At Prime Academy, it is mandatory for all students to wear the correct, neat and clean school uniform as well as the house wise PE uniform on stipulated days. All uniforms (complete outfit and socks) are designed and approved by the school and must be procured only at the school on the stipulated dates as and when communicated. School shoes (Black for regular and white canvas for PE) as prescribed by the school, must be procured from the local market.

There is a ONE uniform code. The design of the uniforms must not be modified or altered.The school uniform impacts the look and public perception of the school as well as its students. Therefore, both must always be portrayed in positive light in the larger community.
